Shipping & Delivery

Last updated 22 September 2026

Every copy of SPHERA is packed and sent individually. This page explains where we deliver, how long it takes, what it costs and what happens if something goes wrong on the way to you.

Where we deliver

We currently deliver to South Africa only. Checkout will not accept an address outside that area, and prices are quoted in South African Rand only.

We deliver to street addresses and to business addresses. We cannot deliver to a post office box, because the courier requires a signature on delivery.

How long it takes

We pack and hand over orders within 1 to 3 business days of payment clearing. Delivery time then depends on where you are.

DestinationEstimated delivery after dispatch
Main centres (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein)2 to 4 business days
Outlying towns and regional areas3 to 7 business days

These are business days and exclude weekends and public holidays. Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are processed on the next business day.

Delivery can take longer than usual in December, during courier industrial action, or in severe weather. If we expect a delay on your order, we will email you rather than let the date pass in silence.

What it costs

Delivery is charged at a flat rate calculated at checkout from your delivery address. The exact amount is shown to you before you pay, separately from the price of the game, so you always see the full cost of the order before committing to it.

Tracking your order

We email you a confirmation when you order, and a tracking number when the parcel is collected by PLACEHOLDER: courier name, e.g. The Courier Guy. The tracking number can take a few hours to become active on the courier's system after we generate it.

Accepting delivery

Someone must be present to receive and sign for the parcel. If you will not be at home during business hours, a work address is usually the safer choice.

Please check your delivery address carefully before you pay. We cannot redirect a parcel once the courier has collected it, and a delivery to an address you supplied incorrectly is re-sent at your cost.

If nobody is available, the courier will usually attempt delivery again the next business day and then hold the parcel at a depot. A parcel returned to us after failed attempts is refunded less the delivery cost, or re-sent once you pay delivery again.

Who carries the risk

Your order is at our risk until you accept delivery, not yours.

Section 19(6) of the Consumer Protection Act places the risk of loss or damage on the supplier until the consumer accepts delivery. If your parcel is lost, stolen in transit or arrives damaged, that is ours to resolve — we will replace it or refund you in full, including delivery. See our Returns & Refunds page.

Please tell us within 7 days of delivery if the parcel arrives damaged, and keep the outer packaging — the courier claim usually depends on photographs of it.

If delivery is late

Section 19(2) of the Consumer Protection Act requires us to deliver on the agreed date or, where none is agreed, within a reasonable time. If we deliver materially later than the window above and have not agreed a new date with you, you may cancel the order and we will refund you in full.

If your order has not arrived within 10 business days of dispatch, email hello@spheramythos.com with your order number and we will trace it with the courier.

Limited edition orders

The first 500 copies are individually numbered and, in part, hand-finished. Where a numbered edition is not yet in stock at the time you order, the expected dispatch date is shown on the product page before you pay, and that date is the one we hold ourselves to.

Section 19(2) of the Consumer Protection Act applies to that date as it does to any other. If we cannot meet it, we will tell you and you may cancel for a full refund rather than wait.
