Cookies we set because the site needs them

These are set without asking, because the site cannot do what you asked of it without them. They carry no advertising purpose and are not shared with anyone.

Analytics cookies, only if you accept

We use PostHog to understand which pages people visit and where they get stuck, so we can improve the site. PostHog is hosted in the European Union and we have configured it not to create a personal profile for an anonymous visitor.

PostHog does not load at all until you accept. Decline, and no analytics script is downloaded and no analytics identifier is created.

What we do not do

We do not run advertising or retargeting cookies.
We do not sell or share what we learn from analytics with advertisers or data brokers.
We do not use cookies to build a profile of you across other websites.
We do not embed third-party social media trackers. The Instagram and Discord links in our footer are ordinary links and set nothing until you click them.

Changing your mind

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer to change your choice at any time. Declining after having accepted stops any further analytics collection immediately and clears the PostHog identifier from your browser.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential cookies above will stop the cart from working.

Where a cookie holds personal information, POPIA gives you the rights set out in our Privacy Policy, including access, correction and deletion. Requests go to tragedyman@welkinstone.co.za.
